A weekend in Hamburg on 35mm

During the few months of 2020 that we were allowed to travel, my friends and I rented an AirBnB just outside of Hamburg in northern Germany. None of us had explored the region before, and loved visiting a few small towns and of course - Hamburg itself. I took my Canon A1 and snapped a number of film photos.

I really prefer film for explorations such as these. The camera itself is much smaller than my DSLR, making it so much easier to carry. Plus, it attracts far less attention on the streets. While still a bulkier film camera (compared to the nifty point and shoots), the make itself has such character.

Anyway. I filled a Porta 400 and B&W film from our long weekend away. Here are the results.
