Layers of the Dolomites

I’d never been to the dolomites, or barely into many areas of the alps. I’d heard so many great things but 2020, being the year that it was, didn’t allow me to travel there.

I joined a photography tour in September 2021 with photographer Carmen Huter to travel the alps, one of those destinations being the Dolomites in Italy.

This particular morning is one that I will never forget, solidified in my mind and starting an intense love for this place and drive to return. Below is a photo essay of this morning, shot on both digital and film.
