Berlin Cherry Blossoms on 35mm

After returning from Australia back to Berlin, we arrived just at the tail end of the Cherry Blossom season. I was determined to get some film photos of the cherry blossoms, but we’d had mostly cloudy weather for a week straight. On the only sunny day of the week, and luckily a day with a visible crescent moon, I took a train out to Kirschbaumallee to photograph the cherry blossom alleyway. I also tested a telephoto macro lense of my dads that I had picked up while at home, aiming between the blossoms to the moon. Although I discovered mould on the lense as soon as I finished the roll, they still turned out well.
